Earth Day 2010

April 24, 2010, 11 am until 3 pm

Oak Ridge Civic Center and Bissell Park

We're going on, rain or shine, so plan to come join us for the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day!

Enjoy a family–friendly, FREE celebration in Oak Ridge.  We will have local musicians and performers, educational presentations, loads of children's activities, Xtreme outdoors, Big and Little Science, artisans and green vendors, animal encounters, a children's scavenger hunt with great prizes, great food, and something for all ages!   Our mission is to educate, encourage, and empower citizens to create a sustainable community.  We hope that you will attend and have a fabulous time, and that when you leave you will take with you a better understanding of what you can do to reduce your impact on our shared planet.
